Typography
When speaking about typography, bear in mind the correct use of terminology.
- "Typography" refers to letterforms and the design and style of text
- "Typeface" refers to a font family (Vitesse is a typeface)
- "Font" refers to individual font styles within a typeface (Vitesse Bold is a font)
- Some typefaces have only one font (such as Abel, which has no bold or italic)
Typefaces for Print
Vitesse
Vitesse is a slab serif typeface used most often in printed materials for headings, subheadings, and pullquotes. It is not used on websites except where it is included in a graphic. License purchase is required.
